In the past years there has been a revival of the Mongolian culture and especially the art of the morin khuur. I personally witnessed it when I was in Mongolia this Summer. I decided to buy myself a morin khuur (I play no musical instruments, but always wanted to have one at home) and started to look for a teacher who could show me the basics. I was quite impressed when I saw how many parents send their kids to morin khuur classes.
