Self-portraits by kids

Found about this very nice project in this blog. Portraits, autoportraits, is a project by Gilles Porte who films kids from around the world drawing themselves with a marker. One of the countries included in the project was Mongolia. More info: simv.over-blog.com

Problems facing the Bogd Khaan nature reserve

Every time I visit Mongolia, the forest area around the capital is diminishing in size and instead of the trees, constructions arise. How sad is that.... The world's oldest nature reserve.... Of course, the govt doesn't give a crap about that.

This is a very nice sounding group, all the info about them is in Japanese, including their website Watch the little TV thingy for some clips. Click on the 4th tab to listen to some samples, I don't speak Japanese, so when I opened the website, I just started clicking on all the links, this is how I know :-P
One of the members is Enkhmanlai, a very famous rock musician (in the photo, the guy in white, obviously).
