Preparing for the Naadam horse races.
This show, with warriors and horses was first organized for the 800 anniversary of the foundation of the Mongolian State. I am not sure whether they continue to do it every Summer now, but it's pretty cool to watch.
Mongol takhi nutagtaa irlee by Bayasgalan
A few years ago, the only wild horse in the world, the takhi, was reintroduced to its homeland after years of absence.... Extinct in the wild, some specimens were left in zoos around the world. So, of course, when the spirit of the steppe returned, it was a quite an emotional moment.
