Resonance, a musical journey to Mongolia

Lately, I've been hearing a lot about this particular luxury brand opening a store in Ulaanbaatar. The following video was made as part of their campaign, the music is by Abdesslam Oulahbib who took an inspiration in Mongolian culture. A musical and poetic journey... Excellent and breathtaking! Watch the entire film here

Hi, sorry if this is random, but I am trying to get some information about Mongolian music and your blog seems like a treasure trove! I am trying to identify this song http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=peWjDno2eik&feature=related, info about it is on screen at 1:27, but I don't read Mongolian/Cyrillic. I heard it while travelling in Mongolia, and a couple more of the same style. Can you tell me anything about the song name, singer or background (what type of song is it - folk, pop? and when did it come out)? Trying to find them, but I've encountered quite some difficulty, obviously from not knowing where to start! Thanks a lot!

Hi
It says: Lyrics by R.Ragchaa
Music by A.Enkhtaivan
Singer Sh.Tsogzolmaa
It can be considered a zokhiolin duu, think. it's like popular folk. Hope this helps a little

Thanks a lot for your quick response! At the same time the lyrics, music and singer info is displayed on the left, is it the song title that is displayed in blue on the right? :) Do you know how/where I can get/buy songs like this?

Yes, I didn't see the title. It's called ¨Missing my child¨. I have no idea where you can buy the CDs from abroad, but meanwhile you will probably like this: http://www.ehlel.com/index.php?name=News&op=view&id=954 It's by a singer called Adarsuren
